Steven Gerrard Had A Dream League Debut For LA Galaxy

For the first half hour or so, it looked like San Jose was going to spoil the party for Steven Gerrard and the LA Galaxy.

But, led by Gerrard and Robbie Keane, the Galaxy rallied behind the former Liverpool teammates to erase a 2-0 defecit and eventually win 5-2.

Gerrard scored his first MLS goal, added an assist and drew a penalty. Robbie Keane scored a hat trick, including two penalties.

This was one of the more exciting designated player league debuts we've seen. Now, the question is ifl Gerrard's good form will continue.

Beckham Finally Granted Approval For MLS Stadium

After announcing yet another new club to join the MLS, David Beckham and his partners were halted by a very large obstacle. Where would they house their team?

The Miami club was expected to be in full operation by 2014, after Beckham was granted permission to own an expansion club upon signing for the Galaxy in 2007, but with no where to play the clubs future has been delayed.

MLS Referee Strike Gets Ugly

What started as a disagreement between two organizations has turned into a highly publicized mess.

The MLS referee lockout has entered its second week.  The Professional Soccer Referees Association (PSRA), which is the union that represents MLS referees, rejected an offer made by the Professional Referee Organization (PRO), who manages the referees and assistant referees for the M.L.S.
