USL1 Side Northern Colorado Hailstorm Makes No. 2 On SportsCenter Top 10 With Beautiful Goal

It’s always a fun time to watch SportsCenter have to discover new sports in the summer. With the NBA plus NHL finishing up and NFL in the offseason the SportsCenter Top 10 segment is forced to look elsewhere for its best plays. Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC of USL1 — the third tier of U.S. Soccer. — has managed to crack No. 2 on the list.

The Hailstorm was hosting North Carolina FC on Wednesday and trailing 1-0 in the first. In the 37th minute Irvin Parra got the Hailstorm back on level terms with a sensational goal that was set up by an even better first touch.

Three Players Who Impressed And Two Who Simply Didn’t Have It Against Grenada

Good news guys, the USMNT is capable of beating Grenada. It’s hard to take too much away from the U.S. defeating Grenada 5-0 in the Concacaf Nations League on Friday, but we have a couple players to highlight for the USMNT.

Head coach Gregg Berhalter put out the B-team for the USMNT, reasonably so, and fans got to see some fringe players try to prove their worth. Christian Pulisic and Tyler Adams didn’t even dress for the team Friday night to give you an idea of how important this game was.

Kylian Mbappé Salvages Draw Against Austria As France Extends Winless Streak To Three Games

Kylian Mbappé struck a late equalizer to help holders France salvage a 1-1 away draw against Austria as they kept alive their slim hopes of reaching the final four of the Nations League on Friday.

Mbappé, who came on as a substitute after the break, found the back of the net with a shot into the top corner seven minutes from time to cancel out Andreas Weimann's first-half opener.

The world champions are bottom of Group 1 with two points from three games, four behind leaders Denmark, who slumped to a 1-0 home defeat against Croatia.

Canada Looks A Different Beast With Alphonso Davies — World Cup Dark Horse Could Escape Group F

Canada’s World Cup odds aren’t amazing. Being in a group with No. 2 in the world Belgium, 2018 World Cup runner-up Croatia and Morocco is less than ideal. Despite being underdogs, Canada’s dominant 4-0 victory against Curacao on Thursday with Alphonso Davies pulling the strings was a good sign that Canada could cause trouble in Group F.

Losing 7-0 To Spain, Malta Gets Serious And Pulls One Back From The Center Circle

As the great Maximus Decimus Meridius once said, never know when you're conquered. Even when all about you is burning and crumbling to ruin, remain calm and listen to that little voice inside that says, "Hold on! You might still go viral!"

That's what happened to Malta's U-21 team in Tuesday's UEFA U-21 Euro 2023 qualifier against Spain's collection of twinkle-toed phenoms from La Masia and La Fábrica.

Penalty Gods Give England Redemption With BS Call Against Germany To Tie 1-1

England tied Germany 1-1 on Tuesday in the UEFA Nations League with Harry Kane converting a controversial penalty in the 88th minute to earn the Three Lions a draw. The England penalty vs Germany was a soft call and had hints of Kane being offside.

USMNT Vs. Uruguay: 3 Players Who Stood Out And 3 With Nights To Forget

The USMNT vs. Uruguay friendly never got going in the way we imagined on Sunday night at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City. At the end of the day, the main talking point is that Uruguay manager Diego Alonso made seven substitutions — Diego Rossi and Facundo Pellistri somehow entered the match together in the 68th minute when that obviously shouldn't have been allowed.

Algunos Dirán Que Lo Predijo Con Esta Foto: Messi Le Hizo Cinco Goles A Estonia
