This 15-Minute Lesson From Xavi Is Worth Any Coach’s Time

Ronald Koeman is living on borrowed time at Barcelona. After a 2-0 defeat to Atlético back on Oct. 2 that showed the ruthless effectiveness of Diego Simeone’s approach (29% possession but who cares) compared to the sterile flaccidity of Barça, Joan Laporta made it clear to Koeman that he had to win three straight matches to stay in the job.

Jesse Marsch Jokes About Using 7-Man Backline Vs. PSG, But Maybe He’s Not Joking

Jesse Marsch’s first season as RB Leipzig manager was always going to be full of growing pains. He had impossibly large shoes to fill in replacing Julian Nagelsmann — who led Leipzig to the 2020 Champions League semifinals, becoming the youngest-ever coach to reach that stage — and Marsch inherited a side in transition with Dayot Upamecano and Marcel Sabitzer following Nagelsmann to Bayern Munich while Ibrahima Konaté signed with Liverpool.

Luis Enrique Causes Outrage In Spanish Capital By Ignoring Real Madrid Players Yet Again

MADRID - Barcelona's 17-year-old midfielder Gavi has been handed a surprise call up by Spain coach Luis Enrique for the Nations League Final Four tournament in Italy next month.

Gavi, who has only featured for Spain at junior levels previously and turned 17 in August, has made just two LaLiga starts for the Catalans this term. However, he has done enough across his six appearances in all competitions to impress Luis Enrique and earn a spot in the 23-man squad.

Man United Coach Blames Liverpool’s Klopp For Not Getting Enough Penalty Calls

Manchester United are not being awarded penalties this season after a "certain manager" last term expressed concern they were being given too many, coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said on Friday.

Solskjaer criticised officials last week for denying Cristiano Ronaldo two "stonewall" penalties in the 2-1 league win at West Ham United.

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp earlier this year said United have had more spot-kicks in two years under Solskjaer than Liverpool have in his entire five-and-a-half year reign.

Un Poco De Privacidad, Piojo: DT De Tigres Ventila Por Qué Leo Fernández Jugó Mal Ante Puebla

Tigres no levanta cabeza y seguro le revuelve el estómago a sus aficionados. RB Leipzig Player’s Description Of Jesse Marsch Reminds Us Of Ted Lasso

Jesse Marsch is the best American coach in European football right now. After two wildly successful campaigns with Red Bull Salzburg, the Wisconsin native moved up to the big time with RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. Ahead of his first season leading Leipzig, Marsch is already being compared to another wildly successful American coach in Europe, albeit a fictional one, Ted Lasso.

Abusive behavior, racist jokes, homophobic slurs — Richie Burke, it seems, is no Ted Lasso, and he appears to be on his way out of the NWSL after a damning report and some confusing reactions from his Washington Spirit club.

Is It Cool To Like Gregg Berhalter Yet?

In December 2018, after more than a year without a coach, U.S. Soccer tapped Gregg Berhalter to lead the USMNT through the 2022 World Cup. Before he even took the field for his first training session, many American fans were unhappy with the hire. Now nearly three years later, is it OK to like what Berhalter is doing with the USMNT?

Fernando Torres Takes Time Off Lifting Weights To Become Atlético’s Youth Team Coach

All Eyes On Rafa Benítez’s Everton At Start Of Premier League Season

New Everton manager Rafa Benítez says he is hoping to forge a winning mentality at the Premier League club and convince fans that he is the right man for the job, despite facing a backlash over his appointment in recent weeks.

The Spaniard was hired by Everton on a three-year deal last month, but the move proved to be an unpopular one given Benítez's illustrious past with Liverpool, who he managed from 2004 to 2010.
