Christian Pulisic had a beautiful assist and a goal against Burnley on Saturday during Chelsea’s comfortable 4-0 victory. The Blues had a muted first half that ended goalless, however a flash flood of three Chelsea goals in seven minutes at the start of the second half saw the game slip away from Burnley. In the 69th minute Pulisic’s hard work was rewarded when Burnley defender James Tarkowski gave the American a gift of a goal.

While the goal isn’t anything to oogle at it will be good for his confidence and make his stat sheet look a little nicer. This was Pulisic’s fourth Premier League goal of the season and his fifth in all competitions. He also has four assists on the season.

Chelsea's upcoming opponents before the international break are Norwich, Newcastle, Lille and Middlesbrough. If Pulisic gets hot agaisnt these opponents before the big USMNT vs. Mexico game on March 24 that would be huge.

The victory sees Chelsea remain third in the league seven points behind second-place Liverpool and six points ahead fourth-place Manchester United.
