Jorge Luis Sanchez Sola wanted his Puebla defenders to hunt opposing players down in packs like wolves. So, he made them wear wolf masks during practice.
The masks were donned in a practice last week to prepare for Puebla’s upcoming match against Queretaro, and especially Queretaro’s new player, Brazilian legend Ronaldinho. Unfortunately, Ronaldinho didn't end up playing Friday night and Puebla drew 1-1 with rival Queretaro. So, perhaps the tactic didn't work. Then again, maybe it scared Ronaldinho away from the match.
