Semi-Pro Side Score Huge Cup Upset With 45-Yard Extra-Time Winner

Semi-professional club Green Gully completed one of the biggest upsets in the history of Australian soccer by defeating A-League side Central Coast Mariners in the FFA Cup — the country’s relatively new domestic knockout competition.

A tiered football league system is almost nonexistent in Australia. A-League clubs, of which there are 10, have no worry of relegation while lower division sides are typically semi-professional outfits. In the three-year history of the FFA Cup, A-League clubs had only been defeated by lower-league teams on one occasion.

USA U-19 Team Fights Bahrain U-20s After Cheap Shot

How mad would you be if you were bounced from a major international tournament by the likes of Bahrain? Let's ask the USA men's U-19 team, which lost 3-1 to Bahrain in the COTIF tournament, ensuring their exit from the competition.

Well that escalated quickly. They appear to not be psyched about it. (The USA is in the dark-colored jerseys and Bahrain in the white, by the way.)

Argentina Final Disintegrates Into Massive Brawl

When it rains, it pours. It's definitely pouring on Argentine soccer right now. First, the Copa America Centenario loss. Then, the loss of captain Lionel Messi. Now, a bunch of grown men acting like insufferable fools.

All hell broke loose after Bella Vista won Argentina’s Lega del Sur Apertura final against Tiro Federal. Kicks were aimed at faces, adults sprinted after one another and a couple of riot guards stood around with their shields lazily held at their sides.

New Team = Same Zlatan

Maybe there is a new God of Manchester. With continued efforts such as these from Zlatan, a god he will be. BUT CRIKEY MATE! WHAT A FINISH! Are you serious, 3 minutes into his Man U debut, who else could pull off a stunt like that. The King of Sweeden started off his English debut in stunning fashion. An incoming ball from Valencia was chopped by Ibrahimovic and bounced into the top corner. Brillaint, elite and classy. Man this EPL season is going to fun isn't it eh?? The King needs a new crown!

Giovinco And Endoh's Back Combine For A Spectacular Finish

Sebastian Giovinco has been nothing short of spectacular in his days with in the MLS. The 29 year old Italian continues to wow and amaze US fans with gorgeous goals and assists for Toronto FC. After leaving Juventus to join the MLS in 2015, he has scored 34 goals in 53 appearances while also making himself a spot on the 2016 MLS All Star Team. Although his goal was taken away from him in the 8th minute after it took a ride off of Endoh's back; it was a beautiful goal that seems to be a reoccurrence for the Italian native.
