¿Se olvidan del Tri? Zendejas y otros seleccionables mexicanos aparecen en convocatoria de EE.UU.

La selección de Estados Unidos comienza a pensar en el Mundial de 2026 y este miércoles publicó su convocatoria para los amistosos que jugará a fines de enero ante Serbia y Colombia. La gran sorpresa de la lista –  ¡vaya, vaya! – es la inclusión de cuatro seleccionables mexicanos, entre ellos el extremo del Club América, Alejandro Zendejas.

¿Los otros tres? El defensor Jonathan Gómez y los delanteros Brandon Vásquez y Cade Cowell.

When the USWNT plays New Zealand in a friendly Tuesday night at Sky Stadium in Wellington, they'll do so in front of a record crowd that foreshadows how the Americans will become the locals' second-favorite team once the World Cup kicks off in July.

Over 10,000 people are expected for tonight's friendly, the first of a two-game series between the Stars and Stripes and Football Ferns with the second match scheduled Friday at Eden Park in Auckland.

USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter was blackmailed during the World Cup

An attempt to blackmail USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter during the World Cup was revealed by Berhalter himself on Tuesday with the 49-year-old coach issuing a statement on Twitter from what was later confirmed as his personal account.

In it, Berhalter describes an incident from 31 years ago when, as an 18-year-old, he had a violent incident with his wife Rosalind. The two have now been married for 25 years but the actions occurred after they'd been together for four months.
