New United States men’s national team head coach Mauricio Pochettino is overseeing his first training camp with the players as the squad prepares for two October friendlies. Veteran defender Tim Ream says that Pochettino’s sessions are another level of demanding.

Ream appeared on the ”Player / Manager” podcast and shared what the first few days have been like working under Pochettino.

The Chicago Fire announced the hiring of former U.S. men's national team head coach Gregg Berhalter as the club's new director of football and head coach on Tuesday.

Berhalter, 51, becomes the MLS club's 10th full-time manager and will oversee all of the Fire's sporting operations, reporting directly to owner and chairman Joe Mansueto.

Gio Reyna is expected to miss another month and-a-half with a groin injury after suffering a setback, announced Borussia Dortmund manager Nuri Sahin.

The United States men’s national team midfielder initially suffered the injury during the USMNT’s September window and has been out for club and country since.

Concacaf revealed the 2025 Gold Cup host cities and stadiums on Wednesday with 14 different venues set to host games next summer. Notably there are no host cities on the East coast as the FIFA Club World Cup, held in the United States, will be happening at the same time.

The Gold Cup runs from June 14 until the final on July 6 with 13 venues in the U.S. as well as Vancouver being one of the host cities. The majority of venues are on the West coast with a sprinkle of Texas, St. Louis and Minnesota.

Former Everton and United States men’s national team goalkeeper Tim Howard says that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his tactics have had a negative impact on the sport. The Tim Howard Pep Guardiola comment has garnered plenty of attention.
