The idolatry that follows success and the stigma that follows failure are woven into the fabric of history, and the repercussions will typically follow footballers for the rest of their lives. Daily, we’ll take a look at who played the role of hero and who played the role of villain at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Not really, they just ate candy, put on hats and picked their ideal vacation. They clearly had a fun time taking part in this quiz and you will probably enjoy watching them take it.
Germany vs Mexico is the talk of the town for Day 4 at the World Cup. But don’t sleep on Brazil vs Switzerland. Switzerland had a solid performance in European qualifying and shouldn’t roll over against a loaded Brazil side. Costa Rica will look to build off its Cinderella performance in 2014 as it takes on a Serbia team that enters the tournament with a lot of confidence.
The Denmark vs Peru match finished 1-0 in favor of the Danes, but the scoreline did little to capture the end-to-end nature of the match. Peru looked the more threatening side during the first half, which culminated in a Christian Cueva penalty kick that landed 20 rows deep behind Kasper Schmeichel's goal.
Consider Peru coach Ricardo Gareca the foil to Morocco coach Hervé Renard. As much as Twitter loved Renard on Friday, the lovely people of the internet were not so kind to Gareca on Saturday.
Renard was the lone bright spot for his country in a disappointing 1-0 loss to Iran on Friday, winning fans over across the globe with his undeniably good looks.
