Off The Crossbar Free Kick By Messi

We're 6 days into 2016 and Leo Messi has already made the play of the year. In today's Copa del Rey match vs Espanyol, Los Blaugranes secured a 3-1 victory behind the brilliance of La Pulga. Messi netted a brace and added an assist, but his second goal was one that comes with almost complete normalcy for the Argentine. The four time (let's be honest, soon to be five time) Ballon d'Or winner struck a 25 yard free kick off the crossbar and into the back of the net showing us all the brilliance we've been lucky to see for the past 11 years. 2016? More Messi free kick golazos? Can't wait.

Cristiano Scored Another Sweet Volley

We don't know what was crazier in today's match between Real Madrid and Sociedad. It was either this volley by Cristiano Ronaldo or the fact that CR7 missed the target for the first time in 55 La Liga attempts. Nonetheless, both feats involved the great Cristiano Ronaldo and both are equally impressive. Obviously it's not impressive that he missed a PK, but it's absurd that the 30-year-old megastar MISSED THE TARGET FOR THE FIRST TIME IN LA LIGA IN 55 ATTEMPTS. DID YOU HEAR US? Death, taxes and CR7 putting PKs on frame. Now, back to CR7's volley.

Luis Suarez Goals vs Roma

The eyes were on Lionel Messi ahead of Barcelona's Champions League match vs Roma. And of course, La Pulga delivered. Scoring the second of Barcelona's 3 first half goals with a classic chip over the goalkeeper. But the person who continued his perfect form? Lucho Suarez. The Uruguayan not only assisted Messi's goal, but he also gave fans a volley for the ages, when he wound up from just inside the box, and curled a left to right rip past the goalkeeper.

Messi's First Goal Since Knee Surgery

He's baaaaaaaack. In his first start since injurying his knee back on September 26th, Lionel Messi found the back of the net with a classic chip over the goalkeeper. The Messi goal vs Roma came after 29 straight touches from Barcelona, with the final 6 coming in no surprising fashion: Neymar-Messi-Neymar-Messi-Suarez-Messi-GOAL. Neymar and Suarez were already in perfect form while Messi was gone, combining for 21 goals and 10 assists.

An Injured Sergio Ramos Scores Awesome Bicycle Kick

Injured shoulder? Psh. This Sergio Ramos bicycle kick shows that the Madrid captain care more about scoring epic golazo's then some ailing shoulding. Ramos had already missed six games due to the injury and has played in a handful of matches (Atlético, Celta, Sevilla and Champions League games against PSG) thanks to taking cortisone shots before matches. That only makes this goal more badass considering Ramos the fact that it sounds like Ramos should is about to fall off.

Neymar Scores A Potential Puskas Winner

Lionel Messi hasn't played for Barcelona since September 26th. But in that time, Barcelona has rallied off a 7-1-1 record in all competitions, and it's thanks to the performances from Neymar and Luis Suarez. This past weekend illustrated just that, and it wasn't hard to see after watching Neymar's ridiculous goal to give Barcelona a 1-0 lead vs Villarreal. The comparisons of Neymar and Ronaldinho have long been going on in the soccer community, but this goal really showed that Neymar could be as special as the former Barcelona #10.

Typical Barcelona.

This Luis Suarez goal vs Eibar is what soccer fans expect from Barcelona. We all know the style that Barca plays with. They execute crisp passes, everyone seems to always be in the right place, and they are miles ahead of their opponents. This goal was no different as they equalized the match at 1-1.

David Moyes Went To Spain To Find Relief But Only Found More Grief

You're abroad: a different language, a new culture and altogether different customs. You've been gathering up courage, repeating the appropriate local phrase over and over again in your head.

This is what traveling is all about. You make eye contact with the waiter and let that silver tongue loose. You're a cosmopolitan now.

Suddenly, the momentary pride you feel is replaced with a sinking sense of horror as the curveball arrives. Your prepared statement is returned back to you in the form of some unintelligible question.

Amazing La Masia Goal

Want to feel bad about yourself? Watch this amazing La Masia goal that will leave you wondering why your soccer skills are so futile. These two kids literally just dystroyed an entire defense, and it looked effortless. Lets break it down:

Suarez Goal vs Leverkusen

With Lionel Messi out with a knee injury, Barcelona needed someone to step up, and they got just that with this Suarez goal vs Leverkusen in the second round of Champions League group matches. The Uruguayan executed a perfect finish off of a pass from Munir El Haddadi, who weaseled his way through the Leverkusen defense. Barcelona were not playing very Barcelona like during the match. They were out possesed and out shot, but come the 82nd minute Suarez stepped up to the plate and cracked a perfectly placed right footed shot into the upper corner.
