England FA won’t light Wembley in Israel’s colors or allow Israel/Palestine flags inside

LONDON — Flags and shirts showing support for victims of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will not be allowed for England's games against Australia and Italy at Wembley, the FA said on Thursday.

England host Australia in a friendly on Friday before taking on Italy in a European Championship qualifier on Tuesday.

"On Friday evening, we will remember the innocent victims of the devastating events in Israel and Palestine," the FA said in a statement.

Wales manager Rob Page confirmed that Wrexham striker Paul Mullin has been placed on standby for upcoming matches against Gibraltar and Croatia.

Mullin recently returned to action for Wrexham after suffering a collapsed lung and four broken ribs during the clubs preseason tour in America ahead of its return to League Two. The players for the fifth tier Portuguese club Olivais e Moscavide had an awesome reaction when it was revealed they would play giants Sporting Portugal in the next round of the Portuguese Cup competition.

The tournament known as Taça de Portugal is the annual knockout tournament in the country open to professional and amateur clubs. Moscavide, who play in a regional league in the fifth tier, have progressed to the third round of the tournament and will get to play one of the big boys.
