OK. We know what you're thinking. What do the Instagram accounts of the wives and girlfriends of famous soccer players have to do with actual soccer? 

To this we say, who cares? We've scoured the social-sphere to find the best-of-the-best when it comes to the beautiful wives and girlfriends of the top soccer players in the world - and, who knows, maybe if you follow one of these ladies on Instagram, from time to time you'll catch a photo of a famous player as well.

Juventus plays Empoli this weekend as they try to keep pace with Roma atop the Serie A table. But it's also Halloween and the players of Juve don’t want to miss out on the fun just because they have a game. 

So, players Leonardo Bonucci, Claudio Marchisio, Simone Padoin and Marco Storari participated in a little target practice at training. This was pretty low-key compared to their antics last year. After the video check out the photos that were posted on Juventus.com last Halloween. 

It seems like Juve are the best team to celebrate the holiday with. 

Alex Morgan and Sydney Leroux aren’t the only star soccer players to dress up for Halloween. The ghoulish - or downright silly - sentiment streams across the world and you'll be happy to know some of the world's best players dress up for Halloween. We hope they do it again this year.

Liga MX is one of the most popular leagues in the world, only more so as the popularity of soccer rises around the world. But what do you do if you are suspicious your friends have only started to follow a Liga MX team in the name of glory hunting, or simply as a flavor-of-the-week? So apparently Germany broke the World Cup trophy. This isn’t the first time a team has broken their championship hardware. Sergio Ramos dropped the Copa del Rey trophy, Billy Donovan and the Florida Gators dropped the NCAA's crystal basketball, and who knows what really happens to the Stanley Cup every year...and those are just a couple.

La Liga, Serie A and the EPL will be playing with a new ball next season. Nike just released the new Ordem football for the start of the upcoming season, and the company says that it is the most innovative, technologically-advanced and aerodynamically-tuned ball to date. 

Each league has their own specific colored Odem, with the EPL getting blue, La Liga getting orange and Serie A getting purple. 

FIFA released the official logo and posters of the host cities for the 2018 World Cup on their website the other day. Their are 12 venues in 11 host cities with nine new venues being built. Below are the posters along with official previews and info provided by FIFA for each host city. Enjoy the little history lesson for each of these Russian cities.
