Ridiculous Gregg Berhalter Volley Has Me Thinking He’s The USMNT’s Best Option For Starting Striker

The U.S. men’s national team has a striker problem. Players like Ricardo Pepi, Jordan Pefok, Gyasi Zardes and Daryl Dike have all attempted to fill the No. 9 vacancy on the team with mixed results. The team has been searching for an answer, but little did they know the solution has been one step away from the field this whole time.

Gregg Berhalter needs a go at striker. Don’t believe me? Check out this video from the USMNT’s Arizona training camp and try telling me that Mr. Nike Shirt couldn’t score a goal for this team.

The Most Hyped Brazilian Teenager Since Neymar Just Hit A Ridiculous Bicycle Kick

Three days ago, The Mirror reported that scouts from Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City were all at the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Junior Championships to watch 15-year-old Palmeiras phenom Endrick — who's already progressed to Brazil's U-20 squad and is spoken of in the same reverent tones that persuaded much of the globe to find an illegal stream of a Santos match to watch the prodigy known as Neymar.

Watching Nigeria's Moses Simon At AFCON Has Been An Honor And A Privilege

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are now favorites at the Africa Cup of Nations after defeating Guinea-Bissau 2-0 on Wednesday to become the only team to make it through the group stage in Cameroon with a perfect record.

The form of Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has sent a message across Africa — he scored the match-winner against Egypt and provided a beautiful assist on Wednesday's opening goal — but the player to watch has been Nantes winger Moses Simon.

Thoughts On Ricardo Pepi's First Bundesliga Start: Why Am I Like This?

Watching Ricardo Pepi make his first Augsburg start on Sunday against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, I realized that either Pepi's performance was exactly the same as the debuts of Clint Dempsey with Fulham, Christian Pulisic with Borussia Dortmund and Tyler Adams with Leipzig or that I have a tendency to see exactly what I want to see when hugely talented Americans finally grace the field in Europe.

Premier League Title Race All But Doomed Courtesy Of Spectacular Kevin De Bruyne Strike

Barring a Manchester City disaster, the 2021-22 Premier League title race appears all but sorted as City defeated second-place Chelsea 1-0 on Saturday. The victory was City’s 12th straight in the league as the defending champions look set to win a fourth Premier League title in the last five seasons.

Despite the close score Manchester City looked the clear favorite throughout the 90 minutes. I apologize to my fellow Americans, but the attack force of Christian Pulisic, Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech was as dangerous as a dandelion.

Cristiano Ronaldo: 'I Don't Want To Be Here To Fight To Be In Sixth Place'

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo is hopeful he can recover from a minor muscle injury in time to feature in Saturday's Premier League match against Aston Villa.

The Portugal international missed United's 1-0 FA Cup third round win over Villa on Monday but is keeping his "fingers crossed" that he can return to action at the weekend.

Tottenham's Tanguy Ndombele Booed Off By His Own Fans After Forgettable FA Cup Performance

LONDON - Tottenham Hotspur's record signing Tanguy Ndombele was booed off the pitch by his own fans after being substituted in his team's unconvincing 3-1 FA Cup third round win against League One strugglers Morecambe on Sunday.

The midfielder, who has struggled to live up to his $73 million fee after signing from Lyon in 2019, was one of three Tottenham players to be hauled off by manager Antonio Conte in the 69th minute.
