We here at The18 have touched on the fiasco that is the 2018 and 2022 World Cup bidding process. We have now learned that the report on possible ethics violations will not be made public following the 18-month investigation.

FIFA Releases 2018 World Cup Posters

FIFA released the official logo and posters of the host cities for the 2018 World Cup on their website the other day. Their are 12 venues in 11 host cities with nine new venues being built. Below are the posters along with official previews and info provided by FIFA for each host city. Enjoy the little history lesson for each of these Russian cities.

The Stadiums Of The World Cup

We here at The18 have taken a critical look at Brazil’s preparation for the World Cup, especially when it comes to stadium infrastructure. It’s necessary to say that the Itaquerao, the stadium hosting the opening match between Brazil and Croatia, is still not finished. But, for the moment, let's put those worries aside and look at the 12 stadiums that will host the 2014 World Cup's 64 matches.

The World Cup Never Looked So Good

For World Cup 2014, ESPN engaged Brazilian artist and graphic designer Cristiano Siqueira to create a series of posters, one for each of the 32 nations playing in the tournament. For our money, Siqueira nailed it. We'd love to have every one of these hanging on the walls of The18 headquarters. The posters blur the line between graphic art and street art.
