You may be able to play as an old lady in Ubisoft's upcoming Watch Dogs game, but you certainly won't be able to play as The Old Lady in FIFA 20.

FIFA fans were disappointed to hear Tuesday that Juventus would not be a playable team in FIFA 20. The Turin club has signed an exclusive rights deal with Konami, meaning that the team's name, crest, stadium and jerseys will only be used in the Pro Evolution Soccer games for the foreseeable future.

Peter Crouch tweeted out Friday morning that he plans to retire from professional soccer at the age of 38.

Global soccer’s governing body is trying to get tougher on racism, homophobia and all discrimination with a newly redrafted FIFA disciplinary code. 

Let’s hope it actually works.

This morning, the USWNT received a letter from the 25 female members of the Senate, requesting a meeting with them to discuss issues facing women. The letter, which is addressed to head coach Jill Ellis, Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd, and Megan Rapinoe, congratulates the team on its victory and remarks on how it has ignited conversation regarding women’s issues.

Back in 2003, Rose Lavelle was just an eight-year-old girl with dreams to one day be like her idol, USWNT legend Mia Hamm. Daniel Sturridge set social media alight Tuesday when he released a video showing the aftermath of a theft of his LA home. In the video Sturridge, who is visibly upset, shares that not only had some valuable bags been stolen and his window broken, but his dog Lucci had also been taken. This summer, AS Roma will use its global popularity and influence to aid in the search for missing children. The club announced that it's partnered with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and will be displaying the photos and information of missing children alongside transfer announcement videos.

The story of the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship so far has been the play of Romania, which is participating at the tournament for the first time since 1998. After finishing above Portugal in qualifying, there was a sense that this could be the finest Romanian generation in 20 years, but no one could’ve predicted the start they’d make at this U-21 Championship.
