The neck and neck goalscoring battle between Ricardo Pepi and Santi Giménez in the Eredivisie

The spicy rivalry between the USMNT and México is having a remarkable round in the 2022-23 Eredivisie as strikers Ricardo Pepi and Santiago Giménez battle neck and neck among the division's top scorers. After 29 games, both have netted 11 goals and are just three behind Xavi Simmons (PSV) and Anastasios Douvikas (FC Utrecht), who currently lead the race with 14 each.

Although the realities of their teams are extremely different, Pepi and Giménez are not giving space to each other with both finding the net again this weekend.

Bukayo Saka misses PK as Arsenal stumble to damaging draw at West Ham

Those looking for trials and tribulations in Arsenal's quest for the Premier League title weren't left disappointed Sunday as the Gunners travelled to West Ham for a London derby that initially looked over inside 10 minutes.

In the seventh-minute, a wonderfully constructed Arsenal move was finished by Gabriel Jesus after Martin Ødegaard played Ben White into space for a pass across the goalmouth that West Ham's Vladimír Coufal refused to deal with.

Gio Reyna scores 92nd minute go-ahead goal but then Dortmund inexplicably chokes

STUTTGART — Borussia Dortmund conceded a stoppage-time equalizer from Silas Katompa Mvumpa to draw 3-3 at 10-man VfB Stuttgart on Saturday and missed the chance to go joint top of the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.

Dortmund thought they have won it when Gio Reyna struck in stoppage time but Silas drilled in his second to earn the hosts a point.

Philadelphia Union stun Atlas to reach Champions League semifinals

Julián Carranza's second goal of the night, in the 78th minute, lifted the Philadelphia Union to a 3-2 aggregate victory over Atlas on Wednesday in Guadalajara, Mexico, at the conclusion of a CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal series.

The Union escaped with a 2-2 draw in Mexico after beating Atlas 1-0 in Chester, PA, on April 4 in the two-game, total-goal series. Philadelphia moves on to a semifinal series against Los Angeles FC, with the first leg scheduled for the last week of April and the second legs due to be played in the first week of May.

Theo Hernández collects Chucky Lozano's soul after throw-in scuffle

Ismaël Bennacer got a lot of high-fives after scoring the only goal in AC Milan's crucial 1-0 win over Napoli in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.

However, if we have to choose a man of the match, that recognition should be in the hands of left fullback Theo Hernandez. The dyed-blond Frenchman probably didn't lead any stat some people care about nowadays, but he fueled his teammates from an emotional point of view.

Especially after seeing the aggressive tête-à-tête he starred alongside Mexican Hirving Lozano during a trivial throw-in.

While Los Blancos were beating Chelsea, Real Madrid loanee Brahim Díaz was lifting Milan over Napoli

In beating Napoli 1-0 in their Champions League quarterfinal first leg at the San Siro, Milan exemplified all the UCL cliché's that Real Madrid have entirely owned and turned into bonafide pieces of wisdom over the last decade. Hell, Milan even used a Real Madrid loanee to get it done.

Cliché No. 1, you need to be street wise — basically you need to be in the mold of Theo Hernández.

Carlos Vela scores a brace and gives us another wholesome moment with his family

They call him the King of LA and he doesn't shy away from the moniker.

Carlos Vela was sensational against Vancouver Whitecaps, scoring a brace in LAFC's 3-0 win over the Canadians to complete a 6-0 aggregate thrashing in the Concacaf Champions League quarterfinals series.

If you're not happy with that, Vela also gave us a particular and emotional moment, celebrating one of those goals by hugging his two kids, Romeo and India, and his wife, Saioa Cañibano.
