Approaching His 34th Birthday, Ricardo Quaresma Scores One His Finest Goals

Ricardo Quaresma, the pioneer of strictly passing with the outside of your boot and facial tattoos in football, has scored one of the finest goals of his illustrious career only eight days before he celebrates his 34th birthday.

Like most Portuguese footballers, Quaresma had an excellent 2016-17 season beginning with his triumph at Euro 2016. Quaresma also helped club side Besiktas win back-to-back Super Lig titles in Turkey, and that fine form has obviously carried over into the new campaign.

French Women Show Off Brilliant Flair In Goal Vs. Spain

The French men’s national team has been looking better and better recently, rocketing up to No. 8 in the most recent FIFA World Rankings. The women, though, are still better, as evidenced by a Eugenie Le Sommer goal in a friendly against Spain on Monday.

Les Bleues are currently ranked No. 4 in the world and dispatched No. 17 Spain 3-1 thanks to a gorgeous bit of football between Ouleymata Sarr and Le Sommer.

Hilariously Unsporting Play Leads To Two-Goal Comeback In German Third Division

Languideciendo en el último lugar de la tercera división alemana y detrás de Meppen 2-0 el sábado, Carl Zeiss Jena anotó el tipo de gol que solo un club que mira el descenso directamente a la cara podría apreciar.

Gareth Bale’s 73-Yard Sprint To Goal Clocked At Ridiculous Top Speed

Gareth Bale has done it again. Perhaps best known for his stunning sprint against Barcelona in the 2014 Copa del Rey Final (one that had Usain Bolt saying: “It’s a goal any sprinter in the world would like to score one day. He’s the fastest footballer in the world at the moment.”), Bale has scored another scorching effort for Real Madrid.

In the space of a week, Manchester City has defeated Liverpool, Dutch champions Feyenoord and now Watford by a combined scoreline of 15-0. In those three matches, Argentinian striker Sergio Aguero has provided five goals and two assists, including a hat trick and an assist in Saturday’s 6-0 hammering of Watford at Vicarage Road.

Paulinho The Hero For Barca In Match Featuring Three Absolute Golazos

Barcelona continue to set the pace at the top of La Liga following a spirited, come from behind victory at Getafe on Saturday. A wonder goal from Gaku Shibasaki gave Azulones a shock lead, but second half strikes from Denis Suarez and Paulinho maintained Barcelona’s perfect start to the season after four matches.

5 Years Ago Today, Thierry Henry Struck The Greatest Olimpico Of All Time

Five years ago today, Thierry Henry clipped the meanest olimpico the world has ever seen. Kissing the post before nestling THE OLD ONION BAG, this was a corner straight from the training grounds of the gods.

There’s no defending it because it really shouldn’t be possible. The world has certainly lost the majority of its spice following Henry’s professional retirement.

David Ospina Shows Why Twirling Around Isn’t In The Guide To Goalkeeping

David Ospina is a goalkeeping legend. Arsenal’s No. 2 spends his time in the shadows because of Petr Cech, but when he emerges, hell hath no fury like like a designated cup ‘keeper. When he’s not too busy lifting the FA Cup trophy, he’s usually making wonderfully memorable additions to the goalkeeping handbook.
