Dembele Roasts Man United

Recent signee, Ousmane Dembele roasted the defense of Manchester United to put the game completely out of reach Friday morning as he tallied Dortmund's 3rd goal of the match. A rough start for José Mourinho, as Man U had a disorderly day which led to a 4-1 beating but still a friendly at the end of the day. Dortmund is a team to be reckoned with this upcoming fall with Mario Gotze returning to join Reus while also signing German star, André Schürrle. A brilliant solo goal for Dembele is one that we hope to see more of this season.

Techera Scores A Left Footed Spinning Torpedo

An interesting 18th week in the MLS had some own goals, a goal saving handball (great stuff FC Dallas), an extraordinary hat trick by Clint Dempsey (goal, assist and a red card), and a preposterous banger courtesy of Cristian Techera. Fresh off of a 1-0 lead, Vancouver took advantage of another chance just minutes later to put the game out of reach. A failed freekick attempt led to a ball bouncing back out of the box where Techera received a pass to then take his chances with the ball on his left foot.

He Failed As A Manager, So This Legend Scored A Hat Trick And Got Fired The Next Day

I’ve got to imagine that being a retired legend is a frustrating thing. As soon as you leave the game people probably think you are washed up. Your legacy immediately starts to diminish. People forget just how great you were, and it has got to be incredibly tempting to come back to the game just to shut all those idiots up. That’s what I am imagining was going through Clarence Seedorf’s head when he lit up a charity match with a hat trick bad in 2014.

Tecatito Corona Scored A Golazo For Porto

Many El Tri fans consider Jesus "Tecatito" Corona to be one of Mexico's brightest young players. The winger, who plays for Porto in Portugal's Premeira Liga, gave Mexico fans good cause for their optimism Wednesday when he scored a pretty awesome goal in a cup game.

James Rodriguez Scored A Pair Of Golazos This Weekend

Just in case you forgot how good James Rodriguez is, here's a little reminder.

The baby-faced Colombian attacking mid scored two golazos against Real Betis this weekend.

The first was an absurdly-angled free kick that bent just around the outstretched fingertips of Betis's keeper.

The second  was an overhead kick that must be seen to believe.

Keep up the good work, James.

Steven Gerrard Had A Dream League Debut For LA Galaxy

For the first half hour or so, it looked like San Jose was going to spoil the party for Steven Gerrard and the LA Galaxy.

But, led by Gerrard and Robbie Keane, the Galaxy rallied behind the former Liverpool teammates to erase a 2-0 defecit and eventually win 5-2.

Gerrard scored his first MLS goal, added an assist and drew a penalty. Robbie Keane scored a hat trick, including two penalties.

This was one of the more exciting designated player league debuts we've seen. Now, the question is ifl Gerrard's good form will continue.
