After a toothless first half Dortmund improved after the break, taking the lead when Halaand charged down the wing and Marco Reus flicked his cross on with his back heel for Sancho to fire in.

Schalke’s epic Bundesliga losing streak ended one game shy of the all-time record thanks to American teenager Matthew Hoppe scoring a hat trick to beat Hoffenheim 4-0 won Saturday. 

Weston McKennie helped Juventus hand AC Milan its first league loss of the season on Wednesday after scoring a key goal in a 3-1 victory.

Juventus traveled to Milan to play the league leaders at the famous San Siro. The defending champions struck first in the 18th minute courtesy of a filthy assist from Paulo Dybala to find Federico Chiesa.
