Anderson Knocks Out Teammate With One-Two Punch In Training Brawl

Two years ago, Brazilian midfielder Anderson was at the end of his Manchester United career after being frozen out under manager Louis van Gaal. Oddly, Anderson had managed to stay on the Old Trafford books for over seven seasons without ever particularly impressing. He’s a four-time Premier League champion and winner of the 2007-08 UEFA Champions League with United, but he’s still widely regarded as a flop having arrived from Porto for €30 million in 2007.

55-year-old Diego Maradona had to be restrained by security staff at Pope Francis’ “Match for Peace and Solidarity” after getting into a verbal altercation with Juan Sebastian Veron on Wednesday night.

Watch This Goalie In The UAE Kick A Guy In The Back

This incident took place in the UAE Gulf League, and the keeper in question is named Ali Saqr.

The thing that I don't understand here is the keeper got the ball out of bounds. He was in a bad situation and comported himself well. The opposing winger didn't score. The keeper should be happy. Instead, he is mad, very mad, and fighting like Homer Simpson.

Here's a snippet of dialogue from an episode of The Simpsons titled "Brother from the Same Planet":

Watch This Guy In Zimbabwe Demonstrate How Not To React To A Red Card

Have you ever received a red card? It's a maddening, frustrating experience. You're angry at yourself. You're angry at the ref. You're (presumably) angry at the person you just did a red-card-worthy offense to. There's a lot of anger to go around.

Should you ever find yourself in the position of receiving a red card, just try to control yourself and don't react like this guy did. It's bad.

PSG right back Serge Aurier has been sentenced to two months in prison, reportedly for abusing police officers outside a Paris nightclub in May.

It's unlikely, though, that Aurier will serve any of that time.

Samuel Eto'o Enters War Of Words Between Ronaldo And Xavi

Xavi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Samuel Eto’o are putting fanboys and internet trolls to shame with their ongoing war of words. It's all starting to sound eerily familiar to anyone who’s ever braved the comment section of any article concerning Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Legia Warsaw Ultras Filmed Brutally Pepper Spraying Stadium Stewards

Legia Warsaw’s Champions League opener against Borussia Dortmund couldn’t have gone any worse for the Polish club. On top of being defeated 6-0, they’ve been retroactively charged by UEFA with six offenses stemming from crowd trouble.

Fireworks, allegations of racist chanting and ultras armed with pepper spray all contributed to the charges. Warsaw ultras were captured on camera trying to break into the away section armed with pepper spray. Their attempt was rebuffed by stadium security, but the stewards tasked with holding the ultras back suffered the brunt of the violence.

Diego Costa's Day's Work Includes Beating People Up And Scoring Game-Winners

The alarm clock sounds — it’s your favorite tune, “Macarena” by Los del Rio. You get dressed and admire your floppy hair and manicured beard. As you drive to the stadium, the anger in your belly slowly grows stronger.

You take to the pitch and wait for the whistle, just about ready to unleash your rage. Your opponents become victims to your endless tackles, kicks, grabs and taunts.

The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Threatens To Boil Over In The Champions League

As Celtic prepare to play Israeli side Hapoel Be’er Sheva at Celtic Park in UEFA Champions League playoff action on Wednesday night, some of the club’s supporters plan to give the visitors a rather awkward welcome — by waving the flag of Palestine.

USA U-19 Team Fights Bahrain U-20s After Cheap Shot

How mad would you be if you were bounced from a major international tournament by the likes of Bahrain? Let's ask the USA men's U-19 team, which lost 3-1 to Bahrain in the COTIF tournament, ensuring their exit from the competition.

Well that escalated quickly. They appear to not be psyched about it. (The USA is in the dark-colored jerseys and Bahrain in the white, by the way.)
