Montpellier defeated Nimes 3-0 on Sunday to go second in Ligue 1 (although PSG is already nine points clear after only eight matches), but the clash between the local rivals was marred by a series of incidents that brought the match to a standstill at Stade de la Mosson.

After Montpellier’s second goal in the 29th minute, the metal gate separating the home side supporters from the pitch collapsed during the celebrations, sending fans flying onto the pitch and resulting in a few light injuries. The match had to be stopped at this point.

Dele Alli Challenge Explained: What It Means, How To Do It

Tottenham scraped past Newcastle United 2-1 in its opening match of the 2018-19 Premier League season, but it wasn’t just the game, or the lack of transfers from Spurs, that had everyone talking. Instead, it was the goal celebration from Dele Alli, which has given rise to the Dele Alli challenge.

His goal restored the lead for Tottenham, and despite it being a pretty neat header, his celebration was the focus. Fans and footballers (and even managers) alike have tried to do it, and many have failed.

Feel Your Cold, Dead Heart Unthaw As Loris Karius Receives A Standing Ovation At Anfield

To say Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has had a rough go of things in the past few months would be a grand understatement. His errors in the Champions final that expedited Madrid’s trip to the trophy made him an international laughing stock. Things got so bad that Liverpool police were forced to investigate death threats made against the shot-stopper in the days after the performance.
