Well, Graham Cummins is going to be famous on the internet now. The Irishman, who plays for St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership, did something we at The18 have not seen before.

Stuttgart's Manager Banned Headphones For Some Reason

Alexander Zorniger is the new manager at Stuttgart. Alexander Zorniger does not like it when his players wear large headphones. He thinks it makes them look silly.

He told SportBILD:

“The players are allowed to wear headphones on the team bus, but not in public,”

“There’s a visual reason for this – a 5’5″ small player looks ridiculous when the headphones are as large as the whole head”.

A Scottish Club Has A Seagull Problem, And It Hired A Hawk To Deal With It.

Aberdeen have released one of the funniest statements we have ever read. The Scottish city has a seagull problem, which the local football club has gone to great lengths to mitigate. This includes, we are not making this up, installing a system that transmits bird distress calls, and, we are not making this up either, hiring a hawk to patrol the stadium.

Here is the full statement released by the team:

Why The Zlatan-To-Manchester-United Rumor Is Unfounded

There have been rumors abounding lately that a certain tall Swedish PSG striker is going to make a move to Manchester United.

(Jay Z voice) Let's end the speculation I'm talkin' to all of y'all.

Zlatan is not going to Manchester United. Zlatan doesn't like Louis van Gaal.

Here is a section of a Sports Illustrated interview from last year. (the whole interview is worth a read):

This Goalkeeper Drill Is Absolutely Unbelievable.

In their latest attempt to intimidate the Turkish Premier League, Fenerbahce have released video of their keepers performing superhuman feats of gymnastics and goalkeeping AT THE SAME TIME!

This is just about one of the most tiring thing we have ever seen. I can feel my thighs starting to burn just watching.

Hulk Warns FIFA Of Russian Racism At World Cup

The question of whether or not Russia should host the 2018 World Cup still remains in the air after recent stories of corruption from Sepp Blatter and FIFA have risen. Should plans for the next World Cup stay the same, more issues besides corruption will come to light during the summer tournament.

Could This Champion Get Flipped Like The Rest At FC Porto?

The transfer of Iker Casillas from Real Madrid to Porto, from a sporting point of view, looks positive for all involved in the transaction.

However, it would not be surprising if the signing of the Spanish goalkeeper, despite his advanced age, ended up including him in a long list of players who have been bought at low prices and then sold at high ones by the Portuguese team.

Casillas' Agent Describes Real Madrid's President As A Delusional Racist

In an interview with Spanish newspaper Diario AS, Iker Casillas's agent, Santos Marquez, made Real Madrid President Florentino Perez out to be an insane person.

Marquez, obviously, was not too thrilled about how his client's departure from Real Madrid went down.

You Haven’t Seen Crazy Until You’ve Seen Indoor Soccer Played On Bikes

My fiends and I attempted to play soccer on bicycles back in middle school. It didn’t end well. It ended in tears, in fact.

So it’s more than a little shocking to see professional athletes that have taken playing soccer on bikes to the pinnacle of it’s art. And it really does have a certain beauty to it, a jerky, easy-rider-with-laser-beams beauty.

How A Super League Could Be The Most Entertaining League Ever

It is my belief that one of the major difficulties Americans have with soccer is that they don’t understand how the different leagues and tournaments work.

Generally, Americans understand that the best soccer leagues are in Europe and can grasp the promotion/relegation system the leagues use, where the best teams from a league get promoted to a better league and the worst get relegated to a lesser one.
