The big story from the Euro 2024 draw should have been about the groups, however one google search of “Euro draw sex noises” will let you know what everyone is talking about.

Rejoice USWNT fans — Sweden have failed to qualify for 2024 Paris Olympics

It’s no secret that Sweden have been the biggest thorn in the side of the United States women’s national team in recent history. The Swedes knocked the USWNT out of the 2023 Women’s World Cup, the 2016 Olympics and thrashed the Americans 3-0 in the group stage of the 2020 Olympics.

Sweden are the USWNT’s kryptonite. They won’t be able to hurt the USWNT in Paris next summer though because they failed to qualify due to a 1-0 loss to Switzerland on Friday.

Hamburg's goalkeeper just produced the worst own goal of the year with an unreal fail

A Hamburg goalkeeper own goal is going viral after shot stopper Daniel Fernandes and his defense had a complete meltdown in front of goal.

Let’s set the scene real quick. Friday’s game was a derby between Hamburg and St. Pauli, the two big clubs in Hamburg and the top two sides in the 2. Bundesliga. Friday’s game was for more than cross-town bragging rights as a win for Hamburg would tie them on points for the No. 1 spot.

Hockey’s penalty box could be introduced to soccer as IFAB will trial temporary send offs

LONDON — Measures to improve player behavior and increase respect for match officials were supported at the law-making International Football Association Board (IFAB) annual meeting on Tuesday.

A proposed trial whereby only the team captain may approach the referee in certain game situations was backed and it was also agreed that temporary dismissals for dissent and specific tactical offences should be trialled at higher levels.

Sin bins (similar to hockey's penalty box) have already had a successful implementation in grassroots football.
