Kevin Mac Allister shows he’s in NFL Playoffs spirit with exceptional open-field tackle

With the AFC and NFC Championships on the horizon the football spirit is at an all-time high. The feeling is apparently contagious with one case of football fever spotted in Belgium after a great Kevin Mac Allister tackle.

Argentine defender Mac Allister received a straight red card for a tackle during a Belgian Cup game between powerhouses Union Saint-Gilloise and Anderlecht.

Mac Allister’s teammate gave a half-hearted effort to bring down an opponent in on goal so the 26-year-old showed everyone how it’s done.

Eden Hazard reunites with Swansea ball boy he kicked over a decade later

After 11 years it appears the beef between Eden Hazard and former Swansea ball boy Charlie Morgan has been settled.

A rewind back to 2013 sets the scene of the two crossing paths for the first time. With Chelsea trailing 2-0 on aggregate in the final minutes of a League Cup match, Hazard wasn’t a fan of Morgan’s timewasting tactics.

The ball had gone out for a goal kick and Morgan took a little too long grabbing the ball for Hazard. The now retired Belgian took the ball by force and kicked Morgan who was just 17 years old at the time.

Gio Reyna in loan talks with Nottingham Forest to escape Borussia Dortmund’s bench

A Gio Reyna Nottingham Forest loan move could be on the table as the United States men’s national team attacking midfielder seeks playing time.

Reyna has seen miniscule action with Borussia Dortmund this season as manager Edin Terzic has opted to use basically anyone not named Reyna. The 21-year-old American has only started one Bundesliga game for Dortmund in the 2023-24 campaign and is only used as a late substitute.

Reyna’s next destination could be a completely new kind of challenge as he’s in talks with a loan move to Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest.
