Juventus’ hopes as dark horse title challengers in Serie A took a blow today as the Italian giants dropped points at home to 13th-placed Bologna on Saturday. Juventus will be disappointed in drawing Bologna 1-1, but it could’ve been worse as a 95th minute equalizer from Dusan Vlahovic salvaged a point for the Old Lady.

Liverpool had a comfortable 90 minutes at Wembley Stadium on Saturday in the FA Cup semifinal vs. Manchester City. The final four minutes of stoppage time weren’t so comfortable as a late City push made for an exciting 3-2 finale victory for Liverpool.

American goalkeeper Zack Steffen can be given a lot of credit for making Liverpool’s afternoon so easy. Steffen had a disastrous first half that saw him concede three goals including an all-time blunder.

With Tottenham Hotspur losing 1-0 at home to Brighton & Hove Albion earlier on Saturday, the door was open for United to close in on the Champions League qualification places with victory over bottom side Norwich and they just about took advantage.

American goalkeeper Zack Steffen had an all-time fail in the FA Cup semifinal vs. Liverpool to give the Reds a 2-0 lead early in the game. Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann opened up at a press conference on Friday about the hatred and threats he received after his side fell to underdog Villarreal in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The Nagelsmann death threats on social media are abhorrent and the evil “fans” leaving these comments went as far as threatening his mother. 

Nagelsmann said the threats certainly don’t make his job and life easy.

Concussions are a big topic in American sports with strict protocols in place to avoid athletes suffering severe head injuries. Hell, America has an entire movie literally called “Concussion.” FIFA and UEFA don’t appear to be on the same wavelength as head injuries aren’t taken too seriously. A Phil Foden head injury in the Champions League vs. Atlético Madrid was a prime example.
