Watch America’s Guido Rodriguez Kick Rubens Sambueza In The Face

We all know breakups can be tough. One day everything is hunky-dory, next thing you know your sweet heart leaves you and you're faced with running into them in public.

So what do you do? Greet them naturally? Pretend you don’t see them? Stare at them, tears in your eyes, for 90 minutes? Club America opted to kick their ex-star in the face.

That’s right. Former Club America star Rubens Sambueza was wildly kicked in the face by his compatriot Guido Rodriguez.

Controversial Goal Spells Defeat For America, Driving Miguel Herrera Insane

With Liga MX resuming play following the devastating Central Mexico earthquake, Club America visited Leon on Wednesday looking to gather the three points that would help solidify their place near the top of the table.

Things were looking up for Las Aguilas as they took the lead in the 53rd minute with a header from Pablo Aguilar.

Massive Earthquake In Mexico City, Club America vs. Cruz Azul Postponed

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake shook Mexico City Tuesday. Reports of several collapsed buildings around the city have been confirmed by the authorities, and the Copa MX Round of 16 match between Club América and Cruz Azul scheduled for Tuesday night at the Estadio Azteca was postponed.

Here are some images featuring the Estadio Azteca after the quake.

17-year-old Mexican Diego Lainez Could Be More Expensive Than Chicharito And Christian Pulisic

In recent days a (wild) rumor has spread saying Club América’s jewel, 17-year-old Diego Lainez, could be sold for the staggering amount of $35-41.8 million in 2018. TV Azteca reporter Omar Zerón recently tweeted that several European teams are looking to sign the young player in order to develop him and turn the left-footed Mexican into a star.

Queretaro Beat America 2-0 To Win The Supercopa MX

Miguel Herrera's second spell managing Club America is off to a rocky start, as Queretaro defeated Las Aguilas 2-0 in the Supercopa MX, which pits the winners of the Copa MX during the Apertura (Queretaro) and the Clausura (Club America). Emanuel Villa struck first from the spot in the 12th minute.

Your Complete Guide To The 2017 Summer Soccer Schedule

Here it is: your complete guide to the 2017 summer soccer schedule.

For most sports, the offseason is a time of respite. Once the Super Bowl ends in February, NFL teams don’t suit up for another game, scrimmage or otherwise, for six months. Soccer, fortunately, doesn’t abide by such silly rules.

The European soccer season technically ends after the Champions League final around late May or early June, but preseason exhibitions pick up in early July. Then there are also international matches (friendlies and cups) to also fill the void.

Club America Turn To The 90s For 2017-18 Jersey Inspiration

The Nike Vapor kits, while extremely light and perfect for those who suffer from hyperhidrosis, have been globally panned for their bland approach that makes the United States look like England look like Portugal look like Paris Saint-Germain.

Chivas Won The Superclasico, But Ricardo La Volpe Stole The Headlines With His Antics

Chivas beat Club America Saturday in the Superclasico, with an Angel Zaldivar penalty the difference between the two sides. The real story of the game, though, was Club America manager Ricardo La Volpe making a tackle on Chivas' Jesus Sanchez.

La Volpe was rightly sent off.

I have to admit, it was a pretty good tackle. Not bad for a 65-year-old!

Javier Guemez Thinks He's Cuauhtemoc Blanco. He Is Not Cuauhtemoc Blanco

Cuauhtemoc Blanco is a legend. El Temo was one of the most creative, entertaining players in the world during his career. Hell, even his post-playing career, featuring a successful election to the mayorship of Cuernavaca, a government investigation and a hunger strike, has been absurd. His signature move, the Cuauteminha, involved him gathering the ball between his feet and hopping away from defenders.

Javier Guemez, who plays for Blanco's former team, Club America, tried to do the Cuauhteminha against Coras Tepic. It did not go as planned.
