Watching Messi Passing Compilations With Jazz Playing Is Pure Beauty

Do you like jazz? Do you like Lionel Messi? Do you like one and not the other? Well, either way you're in luck. A redditor created a video that compiled all of Messi's passes with the sweet sounds of piano, bass, trombone and trumpet playing in the background. One thing you'll notice in this video is actually the amount of opportunities missed by Messi's teammates after he feeds them pin point passes. Alas, the Argentine still has 15 assists in La Liga, which is good enough to be tied for first in the league with his teammate, Luis Suarez.

Barcelona Were Throwing The Title Away. Messi’s Passing Turned Them Around

Barcelona came into their game against Real Betis knowing that they needed to win to stay in first place in La Liga over Atletico Madrid via head-to-head point differential, but they came out of the gates like a team with little to play for.

Seven yellow cards were given out between Barcelona and Betis in the first half, more than the number of shots taken by both teams in that time, six.

Lionel Messi's Diet Can Keep You At The Top Of Your Game. You'll Have To Cut Out The Pepsi Though.

It's pretty clear that Lionel Messi is naturally talented. Even when he was 17, you could see that he was just inherently special. That being said, Lionel Messi didn't make it to where he is by pure talent alone. It takes a lot of hard work and discipline to play at the top level and produce the kind of numbers that Messi does. Needless to say, the Lionel Messi diet is probably a pretty good one.

Barcelona's 6-0 Win Against Sporting Gijon Proves They're Officially Back In Form

Here are some numbers concerning Barcelona's La Liga form during the last two weeks, none of which we are making up.

Barca have scored 14 goals in their last two games, eight against Deportivo la Coruna and six against Sporting Gijon. They have not been scored against. Eight of those goals were scored by Luis Suarez, four in each game. Four of those goals were assisted by Luis Suarez, three against Deportivo and one against Sporting.

Watch The Top 5 Goals From Barcelona's La Masia Prodigies

It just isn’t fair. La Masia, soccer’s foremost player production line, looks loaded with the next generation of talent that will ensure Barcelona’s dominance for years to come. Barcelona’s academy is renowned for its philosophy of play, dictating an emphasis on technical ability and one-touch play.

Luis Suarez Ended Barcelona's Slide By Himself With Four Goals And Three Assists

Barcelona have been in a bad way (for them) recently. They sandwiched two league losses around a stunning loss to Atletico Madrid that bounced them from the Champions League (after having won the first leg). This was the first time Barcelona had lost three games in a row since 2003. The momentum changed Wednesday, when Luis Suarez apparently decided he had had enough, and took his frustration out on the hapless Deportivo la Coruna, to the tune of four goals and three assists.

Why Barcelona Don’t Care Neymar Told His Teammate To Go F*** Himself

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that Neymar is 24 years old, and it’s just as easy to forget just how immature that age really is. Yes, there are plenty of footballers around the world who show maturity beyond their years at that age, but unlike Neymar they aren’t really worth mentioning. Neymar is ungodly talented, that much is clear, but he is the finished product.

Dani Alves Dressed Up As His Girlfriend After Barcelona Lost To Atletico Madrid

Dani Alves is not coping with Barcelona's unceremonious dumping from the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid well.

The Brazilian right back took to Instagram and he, um, well he did this:

Messi's Historic 500th Goal Came In The Most Bittersweet Way Possible

Here are some real things that have been said about Lionel Messi:

"It is clear that Messi is on a level above all others. Those who do not see that are blind." - Xavi

"They tell me that all men are equal in God’s eyes, this player makes you seriously think about those words." - Football commentator Ray Hudson

Champions League Quarterfinals Goals - April 13, 2016

The final day of the Champions League quarterfinals kicked off today with Barcelona playing away at Atletico Madrid and Benfica hosting Bayern Munich. Barcelona were ahead 2-1 on aggregate heading into the match, but Madrid scored in the 36th minute to go ahead on aggregate due to the away goal tie-breaker.

Griezmann headed home a cross after Jordi Alba could not fully clear the ball. The Frenchman would add a penalty to take a 3-2 aggregate lead in the 88th minute after a handball by Andres Iniesta. The final score was 2-0.
