An Australian A-League match between Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory featured five first half goals, with the Victory ultimately winning 3-2. The goal of the match was scored by Roar attacking midfielder Dimitri Petratos, the 24-year-old absolutely lashing a swerving effort into the top corner from over 30 yards out.

Victory’s goalkeeper, Lawrence Thomas, stays rooted to the spot as any contact with the ball probably would’ve resulted in personal combustion. Australia is full of savage creatures and Petratos is one of them. He’s like a cross between a box jellyfish and brown snake, striking when you’d least expect it.
