Real Madrid is back in form and ready to compete with Barcelona for the league title. 

As "Los Blancos" hosted Sevilla this weekend, they displayed their full power in a frantic first half that sent them into halftime with a 5-0 advantage. 

Before the match, fans celebrated Cristiano Ronaldo  winning his fifth Ballon d'Or. 

As things stand with last week's results, Real Madrid sits in 4th place  with 31 points. Atlético Madrid is 3rd with 33 points. Valencia is in 2nd with 34 points. Barcelona is in first with 39 points.

Can Real Madrid catch Barcelona at the top of the table or have they dug themselves too deep a hole? Let us know what you think.
