Fantasy Premier League Tips Week 10

Hello everyone. Here are your Fantasy Premier League tips for week 10 of the Prem. Hopefully your team performs better than Dejan Lovren did last week. Let's get to it, here are 3 players you should look to pick up this week.

Michy Batshuayi (Chelsea)

After coming off the bench against Watford last Saturday and scoring twice inside 29 minutes, 24-year-old Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi now boasts an incredible average of one goal per every 60 minutes on the pitch in his Premier League career. That’s the best minutes-per-goal ratio in EPL history and twice as good as Thierry Henry’s average of one goal per every 121 minutes.

If there’s a player that’s twice as good as Thierry Henry, you should start them. You should captain them. You should name your first born after them, but let’s not get carried away here. Let’s just say he deserves to be in your squad when the Blues travel to Bournemouth this weekend.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (Everton)

Club fires manager. Supporters rally. Players bounce back and win first game without dismissed sad sack prowling the touchline. Things quickly go to hell again. That’s just the way it goes. That’s just the way it’ll always be.

Last Tuesday, Leicester City fired manager Craig Shakespeare and then defeated Swansea over the weekend. This time around, the Foxes host Everton, who’ve just gotten rid of their own manager, Ronald Koeman. Vis-a-vis, it’s the Toffees turn to play out the timeless narrative.

Which player would benefit the most from an Everton rebound? The Iceman Gylfi Sigurdsson, who’s been more disappointing than the last 1,000 hours of The Walking Dead.

Shane Duffy (Brighton)

Is your defense a rotten place where pointless creatures go to die? Let’s fix that. Shane Duffy costs almost nothing, and he’s quietly going about an impressive beginning to the season along with the rest of his Brighton teammates.

Southampton visit the Amex on Sunday in a match that could make for absolutely terrible viewing — Brighton are averaging one goal per game, Southampton less than that — but it’ll look great in the FPL “Points” tab.

GTFOuttaHERE!

Harry Kane (Tottenham)

We can hear your screams and shouts from here, but this show has never shied away from making the big calls. This week, it’s time to give a fantasy breather to everyone’s favorite real estate broker look-alike, Harry Kane.

How could we do this to a player in such a rich vein of form? Easy. It’s Jose Mourinho in a match where not losing is more important than winning. While everyone else in your league is starting Kane and accumulating a couple measly points, turn to your wild card bench striker and just let him loose. *Bryce looking off screen: we might regret this one.*

Captain oh captain

Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)

Alexis Sanchez, Alex Lacazette and Mesut Ozil all started together for the first time ever last weekend and all found the back of the net in a five-goal performance at Everton. What’s the best acronym for the three — S.A.M? Because Sam I am down with this program.

Yes, it was only Everton, but this weekend it’s only Swansea. With Alexis Sanchez returning to form and fitness, it’s time to turn to the Chilean for a double heaping of momma’s special fantasy sauce.
