You Won't Believe The Level Of Detail In These FIFA 18 Stadiums

EA Sports will release its flagship football game next week, but we got a sneak peak at some of the FIFA 18 stadiums that will be included in the new edition — including four brand new to the game — and they are absolutely breathtaking.

The level of detail that the folks at EA Sports have put into FIFA 18, and the stadiums in particular, is amazing. Early reviews say the 2018 version of the game is smoother and more responsive, with better and smarter CPU defenders. But we'll just have to wait to see how it compares to FIFA 17. The game isn't officially released until September 29th. If you can't wait, you can get it now on Xbox One with EA Access for $5 per month or $30 per year.

From Real Madrid’s palace at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to L.A. Galaxy’s digs at the StubHub Center, here are the best FIFA 18 stadiums we’ve seen so far.

Huddersfield Town is a newbie to the English Premier League and thus has its stadium rendered into FIFA for the first time. It may only hold 24,500, but John Smith’s Stadium looks like a fantastic place to taken in a match. The detail of the sun bouncing off the roof bending the shadows of the structure is impressive.

Alex Hunter can’t play for the American version of the Galacticos if the StubHub Center isn’t in FIFA 18, so EA Sports made sure to fix that and introduce one of the premier facilities in America to the game for the first time. We just hope the L.A. Galaxy are better next season so we actually want to play matches there.

Newly promoted to the English Premier League, Brighton Hove and Albion’s 30,000-seater is a welcome addition to FIFA 18. We hope the club stays up just so we can keep playing in the beautiful Falmer Stadium, now known as American Express Community Stadium — Amex Stadium for short, because we’ve all got shit to do.

One of two stadiums from Saudi Arabia to be featured in FIFA 18, the King Fahd Stadium, is a true sight to behold. With seating for 75,000 of your closest friends (and still room for an athletics track with what appears to be a Subaru parked on it), the arena features a stunning umbrella-like roof to protect fans from the sun. But we all know you won't be getting much sun when FIFA 18 comes out on Sept. 29.

Stamford Bridge may be due for a makeover, but it’s still a wonderful place to take in a match. FIFA 18 captures all the details of the intricate roof overhang that help make the stadium one of the more imposing places to play in the Premier League.

One of the meccas of world football, more than 80,000 fans cram into the Bernabéu every other week to watch one of the best teams money can buy. The imposing fortress is expertly rendered in this year’s edition of FIFA. Plus, you better get used to playing here because if you play online you have about a 90 percent chance to play in either the Bernabéu or Barcelona’s Camp Nou, because those are the only two teams anyone seems to play with.

One of the most raucous stadiums in the world and a place every soccer fan should put on their bucket list is the Estadio Alberto J. Armando, otherwise known as La Bombonera. The capacity may be just 49,000, but the atmosphere is intense, especially when River Plate comes to town.

The crown jewel of the new stadiums in FIFA 18 is the Wanda, the perfect rival for crosstown rival Real Madrid’s Bernabéu. The stadium was recently chosen to host the 2019 Champions League final, but before then the 67,703-seat coliseum be a fine home for Antoine Griezmann and company.
