Love and soccer. Don’t they just go hand-in-hand like Bonnie and Clyde?
The beautiful game is used as a tool to unite us as people. No matter where we come from or what our background is, we all have a common love for kicking it.
Sometimes, though, the game unites two who are in love in a special manner.
It happened a couple of years ago, when this guy faked an injury as he was dribbling the ball towards goal. He went down like a sack of potatoes and did his best Cristiano Ronaldo impression, laying there as trainers and teammates surrounded him and hoping that nothing was too serious.
Turns out he was just fine, as you can see below.
Soccer Proposal
Mazel tov to these two! Hopefully their marriage is still going strong to this day. It might be one of the greatest love stories involving soccer since Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum in “She’s the Man” (which I was forced to watch against my own will, mind you.)
