U.S. soccer power couple Syndey Leroux and Dom Dwyer did Valentine’s Day right.

Sydney, a member of the USWNT, and Dom, of Sporting Kansas City, originally announced their relationship back in December, and apparently things have gone splendidly since then.

The couple had a secret marriage in January and no, we’re sorry, but we don’t have pictures from it. We do, however, have the next best thing. This past Saturday, that’s Valentine’s Day for the forever alone and the romantically disinclined, they announced their marriage over Twitter in just about the most perfect way possible.

It all starting with a couple winking Tweets.

And then Sydney dropped the bomb.

Class, sincerity, and just a hint of awwww. That is how you announce a marriage. They even wear the numbers 2 and 14, it doesn’t get anymore perfect then that.

For those wondering why they decided to keep the wedding a secret, here are their own words on the matter:

"Juggling our careers and relationship is very difficult, which is why we decided to wed privately in January. We wanted to announce our marriage at an appropriate time when we were together and at a time that suited our families. We also wanted to make sure that we told all of our close friends and teammates before we announced it publicly."

And just when all this unity and love and perfection was getting to be a little too much, Sydney tweeted out this playing jab at her husband.

Can you do no wrong, Sydney?
