Mansfield Town's Manager Knows The Machines Are Coming For Us All Eventually

Mansfield Town manager Adam Murray has some very deep, philosophical reasons for banning cell phones.
October 19, 2016

Mansfield Town manager Adam Murray sees society being overtaken by cell phones, brightly-lit screens replacing good-old interpersonal communication, and he does not like it one bit, so he banned cell phones.

From The Guardian:

“It’s a society thing. I don’t like the amount of time people spend on their phones around the football club. [The players] don’t talk and then they expect to go into an environment where you have to talk and it will just happen. I think all of us, we’re all guilty. We get lost in this technology world now and we forget the actual core values of human beings.”

Is . . . is Mansfield Town manager Adam Murray actually Louis CK?

And just wait until you read his fire takes on the importance of hand-washing.

Adam Murray is Mansfield Town's philosopher king, and he will not allow society to fall prey to the allure of the machines. Not if he can help it.
