A Man U Fan Paid More Than $100 To Watch The Europa League From What Appeared To Be Jail

A Manchester United fan who attended the Red Devils' 2-1 loss to Midtjylland got put in one of the worst seats we've ever seen, for an exorbitant price.

A stir was caused today by the pricing of Manchester United's away tickets for their Europa League game against Danish side FC Midtjylland, and the location of the tickets. One fan tweeted a picture of his seats. The picture seemed to show that he (and, presumably, his fellow United fans) was seated in some kind of giant cage.

Using today's exchange rate, 71 pounds is equivalent to 101.75 U.S. dollars. As you can see, the people of Midtjylland appear to have thrown the Manchester United fans in prison. We are generally in favor of this, although we would like to know what crime the Man U fans committed to be, um, committed.

Watching a soccer game from the brig sounds like an adventure, we guess. Man U lost the match, 2-1, in case you were wondering. Having to watch that game might be even worse than jail. Maybe the United fans were in there for their own protection.
