Every four years, the footy community gathers together for one of the most famous, most important traditions in sports: goalkeepers complaining about the World Cup ball.
This is what three goalkeepers who will probably feature in Russia had to say about the ball:
David de Gea: "It's really strange. It could have been made a lot better."
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen: The ball could be better; it moves a lot. But I think we're just going to have to get used to working with it — and try to get to grips with it as quickly as possible before the World Cup starts. We've got no other option."
Pepe Reina: "I bet you as much as you like that we'll see at least 35 goals from long range [in Russia], because it's impossible to work out. And it's covered in a plastic film that makes it difficult to hold on to. Goalkeepers are going to have a lot of problems with this ball."
So basically we're going to see a lot of long-range bangers at the World Cup. That is awesome and I hope they continue to make the World Cup ball as horrible as possible for goalkeepers so we can see lots of goals.
