Club America vs. Morelia will be a game to remember for Miguel Herrera and fans of Las Águilas.

On Tuesday night, Club América hosted Monarcas Morelia at Estadio Azteca.

With a super-busy schedule drawing near, Miguel 'Piojo' Herrera will need to move his players around in order to give them rest.

In approximately month and a half, 'Las Aguilas' will play a total of 11 games including Liga MX and CONCACAF Champions League fixtures.

For that reason, 'El Piojo' made a few changes in his starting eleven.

William da Silva, Joe Corona and Edson Álvarez were given a chance to start the game.

French star signing Jéremy Ménez also made his first start for the club since he arrived from Turkey a few weeks ago.

Surprisingly to some, Oribe Peralta was sent to the bench.

Very early in the game, Club América showed they were out for blood.

After a precise crossing by Ménez, Cecilio Domínguez dribbled past a defender and scored.

However, Monarcas Morelia pushed back and scored an equalizer after a quick throw-in that caught 'Las Aguilas's defense off-guard.

Matteus Uribe then took it to himself to destroy Morelia.

After a 60 yard pass, the Colombian international controlled the ball and scored an absolute screamer from outside the box in the 22nd minute.

In the 36th minute, Uribe benefited from a failed clearance, retrieved the ball just outside the 18-yard-box, dribbled past a defender and brilliantly put the ball in the back of the net.

And so the first half whistle blew with a score of 3-1.

In the second half, Oribe Peralta, Darwin Quintero and Andrés Ibargüen came on as subs.

While the second half was not as fast-paced as the first, Club América managed to score a fourth and final goal.

It was Oribe 'El Hermoso' Peralta who set the definite score at 4-1 via a header after a cross by Andrés Ibargüen.

And so, 'Las Aguilas' delivered arguably their best performance in a long time.

Club América have shown they are ready to battle anyone in Liga Mx to win the title.
