Arsenal's 4-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool Sunday has had Arsenal fans' heads spinning around like they've been possessed by demons. And those demons want Arsene Wenger to be fired.
Perhaps the most noteworthy moment of the Arsenal-Liverpool match was when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey found themselves spread wildly out of position, apparently receiving instructions from the sideline, while Liverpool nicked the ball of Arsenal and scored their first goal. The analysis has been consistent in saying Ramsey could have bumped Roberto Firmino off his run if he had been where he was supposed to be. But he was not where he was supposed to be. He was somewhere else.
Because of this, the Wenger-O-Meter has been shifted squarely into the OUT position.
Arsenal fans are going into conniptions trying to figure out ways to get this man OUT of the club. The squad was lackadaisical! The tactics were all wrong! There's not enough talent! Sign Thomas Lemar! Keep Alexis Sanchez! Sell Alexis Sanchez! Blow it all up! Sell all the players and fire the front-office and training staffs and replace them with new ones! New owners too! Wenger OUT and Kroenke OUT!
As you can imagine, Arsenal Fan TV was great fun yesterday, but it's tough to tell whether that particular organization really has its finger on the "pulse" of the fanbase. So we go to Twitter, as Arsenal Twitter is known for its cold rationality and clear logic. They're basically Vulcans.
