But Phil Jones may have just topped himself with his most recent fail in a friendly against Norwegian club Kristiansund on Tuesday.
This is absolute poetry. Jones' bicycle kick shot collides with his hand, turning him from hero back to meme in a matter of seconds. I'd feel bad for the guy if he wasn't making over $2 million a year to sit on Manchester United's bench for the majority of the season.
United went on to win the friendly 1-0 thanks to a last-minute penalty strike from Juan Mata.
