Paris Saint-Germain represents more than simply a football club. The Parisian team and all of its success domestically symbolizes the idea of wealth, class and style. With all of these expectations plus the star power of Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and more, a stylish kit for the upcoming season was a must. The new PSG kit that the club will wear for the 2020-21 season is one of the better new looks so far and comes with historical significance for the club's 50th season.

The new Paris Saint-Germain 2020-21 home and away shirts pay tribute to the legendary Hechter Jersey, celebrating the club’s th anniversaryhttps://t.co/3nf0gp2PAQ

The large red stripe down the middle is a tribute to the Hechter design the club wore in the 1970s. Parisian designed Daniel Hechter created the design nearly 50 years ago and will live on in the 2020-21 kit.
In comparison to other big clubs that have been sporting next season’s kits, PSG has the best kits so far. Not that the competition was too intense. The competition was either Chelsea’s hideous “3” jerseys (that appear to be cursed with a team scoring three goals every game) or Manchester City’s public pool floor design.

As for PSG, the new kits proved to have immediate effect, with Mbappé scoring in the first minute of play against Celtic.
The new jersey worked on Neymar too as the Brazilian found the back of the net in the first half of the friendly.
PSG saved the best goal for last, with Pablo Sarabia scoring a slick volley to cap off an easy 4-0 victory against the Scottish champion.
Atalanta will need to be on high alert for the Parisians when the two teams meet in the Champions League quarterfinals on Aug. 12. Despite not playing any competitive matches since March, PSG has outscored its opponents in the past three friendly matches 20-0. Hopefully the meeting between the two goal-scoring machines elicits a plentiful amount of goals.
