After firing Real Madrid to a Champions League and LaLiga double with 42 goals in 44 games and returning to the France national team with a Nations League title, Karim Benzema beat Sadio Mané and Kevin De Bruyne to the 2022 Ballon d'Or on Monday. To celebrate the occasion, adidas — which has counted Benzema among its stable of athletes for over a decade now — dropped a new signature cleat for Real's captain.
The next-gen X Speedportal cleats launched this past summer with a massive marketing campaign, and Benzema now has his own signature edition of the boot dripping in gold.
Details include a chrome finish on the underside, heel graphics of Benzema's name along with a golden ball and a nod to France's Tricolour on the laces.

Benzema was spotted wearing the cleats during Real's training session on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday's league trip to Elche.
The boots are not available for retail sale. You've got to win the Ballon d'Or if you want such treatment.
