Halftime Entertainment At Xolos Match Is “The Neymar Challenge”

In the end, Neymar’s lasting legacy from the 2018 World Cup will probably be a KFC commercial that mocked his widely ridiculed roll against Serbia. The tumble also generated some great memes. 

I think this one is particularly beautiful.

But his legacy wasn’t just secured online — his playacting has inspired millions around the planet. 

It’s the #NeymarChallenge, but it’s been taken to a new sporting level by Liga MX side Club Tijuana. Xolos are currently in preseason, and they took on CS Herediano of Costa Rica on Saturday at Estadio Caliente. 

The halftime entertainment featured fans coming onto the pitch and competing in “The Neymar Challenge” — they had to race from the halfway line to the top of the box by means of rolling.  

I don't know how that guy manages to go so straight. Even the great Neymar was going on a weird, banana-shaped curve back towards the field against Serbia.
