Paris Saint-Germain will increase security at the homes of members of its squad after Sunday's robbery at the home of Argentine winger Ángel Di María and that of the father of Brazilian defender Marquinhos.
The case of Di María, whose home was already raided in 2015 when he was playing for Manchester United, occurred while the attacker was playing against Nantes. Warned by sporting director Leonardo, the footballer left the field and the Parc des Princes.

In the case of Marquinhos, the player confirmed the robbery at his father's house through social networks and that his family was at the residence, but Marquinhos denied any personal damage and assured everyone that "it was all just a scare" that is being investigated by French authorities.
These facts have led PSG to contribute to the surveillance of the mansions in which the footballers live, all of which are located west of the capital and which already have significant video surveillance and alarm measures in place.
It has been reported that the club will pay for the presence of security guards at the residences for some time, with one or two officers assigned to each residence 24 hours a day.
ℹ️ After yesterday’s events, #PSG has decided to increase the security of the players' residences.
The board will take at its expense an additional human surveillance for a while.

Some players already had their own security personnel, such as Kylian Mbappé and Neymar, but even in these cases the surveillance will be reinforced by the club.
Back in 2015 PSG reinforced surveillance at the residences of its stars following the jihadist attacks in France, which greatly affected footballers and their families psychologically.
