Chichagol. Chichagol. Again, Chichagol.
A remarkable hat-trick from the man, the myth, the legend Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez lifted Bayer Leverkusen to a 3-2 victory over Mainz on Saturday.

His right-hand wrapped following his battle with a stairwell, Chicharito couldn’t be contained. He scored goals in the 32nd, 66th and 92nd minute, rebounding from the disappointment of missing a last gasp penalty against Frankfurt last weekend.

Chicharito now has four goals in four Bundesliga matches, and he’s showing no signs of letting up. In fact, he's just returning to health.
Mainz scored through Yunus Malli and Stefan Bell, but Chicharito’s goal at the death claimed all three points for Leverkusen.
The result pushes Leverkusen into the top half of the Bundesliga table. Chicharito and Leverkusen return to action on Tuesday with their Champions League match against Monaco.
