Soccer players kicking field goals should be a no-brainer. I firmly believe that becoming a kicker in the NFL is a viable back-up career for soccer players that retire or don’t make the cut. Look at Cairo Santos — he was born in Brazil and initially wanted to become a soccer player. That dream died and then boom, he transferred his abilities to American football and will now make $1 million this season kicking for the Chicago Bears.
We’ve seen professional soccer players like Harry Kane and Neymar attempt field goals with mixed results. Carli Lloyd has been the most prolific among soccer players at kicking the egg-ball through the big yellow fork.

These are professional athletes attempting the job of a kicker, but what about the average high school and college athlete? One TikTok user has been striving to find out the answer. The account cs99tv has accrued over half a million followers with the most viewed videos being players trying to kick field goals.
It all began with football players failing miserably at kicking after arguing that the kicker is the easiest position in the sport.

After having to witness those dreadful kicks, the next request was to have high school soccer players attempt the seemingly impossible task. The ball would get higher off the ground, but the accuracy was still sour.

Then came the grand finale: a kicking competition between an actual high school kicker and a Division 1 college soccer player. The high school kickers weren’t up to snuff. Their retched attempts displeased the kicking gods. Thus, the only solution to combat an actual high school kicker was to raise the foot power echelon to the big leagues.
Here was the result.

Perhaps a college athlete facing a high schooler wasn't a level playing field. This TikTok was posted on Oct. 29, meaning there's still hope that this series will continue. If the comment section is true then the next matchup promises to be more evenly-matched.
