The 2019-20 UEFA Champions League final was a nerve-racking, back-and-forth contest that would’ve been greatly improved by both a PSG goal and fans in the stands. While it’s impossible to understand what happened to the finishing abilities of Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and Ángel Di María in Lisbon, we all know exactly why supporters weren’t allowed inside Estádio da Luz.
Still, you can’t stop people from congregating who view football as their life force and who, by extension, accept the risk of contracting a very real and extremely dangerous virus. Now it’s their responsibility as grown ass members of society to undergo a 14-day quarantine, but here’s what supporters of PSG, Bayern Munich (and Marseille) got up to today.
For PSG, the club’s global standing has changed exponentially after the ruler of Qatar purchased it in 2011. However, PSG has been around since 1970 and has a fanbase that wanted to celebrate its first-ever Champions League final.
Here’s how the party started around the club’s Parc des Princes ground.

But the biggest celebration in France was reserved for the country’s second largest city, Marseille. With the 2019-20 Ligue 1 crown, PSG pulled level with Marseille in terms of domestic titles (only Saint-Étienne has more with 10), and supporters of Les Phocéens aren’t pleased about it.
Accordingly, PSG’s defeat was met with wild celebrations on the Mediterranean coast.
