For the second game in a row Wigan Athletic has absolutely obliterated someone. Wigan showed no mercy against relegation-threatened Hull City, scoring eight goals against the Tigers, seven of them coming in the first half. No one could quite believe the score line at the half leading to the 8-0 victory.

The first half blitzkrieg from Wigan was so intense that even Google was lost and had the wrong score showing after 45 minutes.
Here is the demolition of Hull City in all its glory. Wigan saved the best goal for last.
Wigan vs Hull City Highlights
The reaction from the Twitter community was as ruthless and savage as you would expect it to be from Tiger King references to no signs of sympathy.
Not even Carole baskin can save these fucking Tigers

If you have any ounce of sympathy for Hull getting spanked by Wigan, remember this is their chant.pic.twitter.com/iijWx4mdnP

One can only imagine what the message was to the Hull City players at halftime. It definitely wasn’t a “keep your heads up” or a “we can come back from this” message.
As for Wigan, the 8-0 victory was the most goals ever scored by the club in a single match. Wigan fans finally have something to smile about after the club went into administration due to owner Au Yeung Wai Kay’s decision to stop funding the club.
