We were just doodling along in soccer Internet land when we came across an item from the BBC concerning disgraced former FIFA President Joseph "Sepp" Blatter.
"Well!" we thought to ourselves. "That certainly is interesting! We wonder how the old boy's suspension, erm, retirement is going!"
Not well, as it turnsout. From the article
Fifa's ethics committee has opened a formal investigation into former president Sepp Blatter over his conduct, including allegations of accepting gifts and bribery.
We know what you're thinking: "wait, he wasn't already in trouble for that?" Apparently there's even more bad stuff Blatter did that FIFA could punish him for.
Every time Blatter disappears we think we've heard the last of him. We're always wrong, because there's always some shady business from his (recent) past being dug up. He just never goes away, like herpes.
