The moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived. Football is slowly coming back as players are beginning to go back to semi-normal training regimes. As some countries have been lifting their lockdown restrictions, some teams have taken full advantage and are beginning to get back to work.
However, the clubs that have started practicing are staying safe and making sure players and staff are following social distancing guidelines. Even though the players are mask free on the field, the trainers and coaching staff are continuing to cover their faces to make the environments as safe as possible.
Seeing the players back on the field makes everyone happy and gives us something to look forward to besides watching Netflix and doing at-home workouts that consist of walking to our fridge and back to the couch. As much as being safe and healthy is the No. 1 priority, I can’t wait to finally watch matches that aren’t from the 1900s.
