Lionel Messi has had enough of sitting on his yacht in Ibiza presumably replaying his Copa America penalty miss over and over. Messi wasn’t due to join his Barcelona teammates in preseason training until August 1st, but the former Argentine international has forgone his extended break in favor of returning to training.

Rather than take another week off, Messi embarked on the journey to England with his Barcelona teammates for a six-day training camp at St. George’s Park in Burton-Upon-Trent, England.

Barcelona is schedule to take on Celtic in Dublin on July 30th. That match is followed by the most anticipated friendly of the summer, Barcelona vs. Leicester City at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.
Messi and Luis Suarez have appeared inseparable throughout social media — they sat next to each on the plane, on the bus and they appear to have tandem stretching down to a fine science.
Even more importantly, Messi is continuing to sport his new bleached-blonde hairstyle — giving us hope that he’ll actually rock it during the season.
In the face of almost certainly overcast weather in England, Messi’s hair will brighten everybody’s day.
